Broken outlines: 316 + 348 + 389 = 1053 = 27 * 39. And 31 * 6 = 186 (→ 2 * 93). And 34 * 8 = 272 (→ 2 * 136). And 38 * 9 = 342 (→ 2 * 176). June 25 (176), May 16 (136), April 3 (93).

Puna pau, a small natural well near the quarry where the 'hats' (pukao) were made; it was so called because only a little water could be drawn from it every day and it ran dry very soon.

... Paua or pāua is the Māori name given to three species of large edible sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs which belong to the family Haliotidae (genus Haliotis), known in the USA as abalone, and in the UK as ormer shells ... English Etymology explains 'ormer' as derived from the Latin auris maris 'ear of the sea' because of the resemblance to the ear. I reflect on the use of ears in the dark (instead of the eyes), and the whispers of ghosts in sea shells. The Maori name paua we have met before, 'curved', 'black and blue', 'consumed', 'finished', 'come to an end' ...

482 (Aa6-66) - 389 (Aa5-56) = 93 (→ April 3).. But April 25 (115) - Febr 1 (32) = 83. The Pope had added 10 days.

... The brutes of spring caused the downfall of both Captain Cook and Julius Caesar. We are close to the key myth of mankind, that which explains the regeneration of sun and of growth. Once at least some people kept the tradition living. I became interested in what really happened at March 15 and reopened Henrikson to find out: Caesar had been forewarned of the threat by the prophet Spurinna, who told him that a great threat was coming at Idus Martiae or just before [i.e. at 3-14]. The day arrived and Caesar was still living, walking to his meeting with the Senate when he happened to encounter Spurinna and told him jokingly that he was still alive. Spurinna calmely answered that the day had yet not ended ...

Wind (matagi) was depicted in Aa1-74 and rain (ua) in Aa6-66 (→ 666 = the Number of the Beast) ...

... Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six ...

*408 → Gb6-26 (Sirrah) and *41 → 41 Arietis (Bharani)..

Possibly the sequence of current dates was ending at Aa6-66 due to how the precession had pushed these dates earlier and earlieri in the Sun year while the fixed stars apparently had been pushed ahead correspondingly in the Sun calendar.

However, my interpretation of the rongorongo texts is based on the current right ascension positions of the stars - not on their deduced positions in the era of Bharani:

ALDEBARAN (*68)

ANTARES (*249)

And therefore we should compare with October 21. This is 9 days earlier than October 30 (303, *223). And 9 + 3 + 3 = 15 which happens to correspond to 1h:
