... Take the lower part of a gourd or hula drum, rounded as a wheel (globe), on which several lines are to be marked and burned in, as described hereafter. Notice how Cartes du Ciel is displaying Leo as a pair of separate entities, we could say a male and a female (females should always walk behind), perhaps in order to underline the idea of the last part of Leo being similar to a tripod support for a cooking vessel:
