One of the four flames is missing in what could be vai-ora-a-Tane. In the moon calendar of Mamari the disappearance of one of the six flames of the sun might indicate that the sun has used up part of its fuel. Here there could be some similar explanation. But I believe there is one more sign to take into consideration: the 'flame' at top right does not look like an ordinary one. It is more similar to the end of a branch or something like that, i.e. not on fire.

I think we should read together this glyph with the one immediately preceeding:

Ea2-15 Ea2-16
e tagata hakakaikai toki - ki te henua koti ko te toki - kua ko ki te vai

The toki in Ea2-15 is not like that in Ea2-16.

The word koti = 'parcelles, fractions, coupé' (Jaussen according to Bathel) and kotikoti = 'to cut with scissors' (http://www.rongorongo.org/vanaga).

The sequence koti + vai occurs in other texts, too, and therefore seems to be important.
