88. Let's now return to the synodic cycle of Mars. In our current mythic mood of thought we will notice the beautifully drawn central bird in Gb4-15 (one more than Gb4-14), where the nakshatra Full Moon would be close to the right ascension line of Khambalia (λ Virginis), at the end of Virgo.
... About Carmenta we know from the historian Dionysus Periergetis that she gave orcales to Hercules and lived to the age of 110 years. 110 was a canonical number, the ideal age which every Egyptian wished to reach and the age at which, for example, the patriarch Joseph died. The 110 years were made up of twenty-two Etruscan lustra of five years each; and 110 years composed the 'cycle' taken over from the Etruscans by the Romans. At the end of each cycle they corrected irregularities in the solar calendar by intercalation and held Secular Games ... In October 23 AD 2023 the planet Mars will be a fraction of a right ascension day behind Khambalia and in October 23 he will have moved well ahead of her - see below::
Mercury is here marked yellow, possibly because he was so close to the rays from the Yellow Sun, and Mercury (→ Wednesday) will follow not far after Mars (→ Tuesday). In my colour scheme I was forced to chose red instead of yellow for the Sun, because signs in yellow proved to be too difficult to perceive.
In the evening of October 23 (*216), in the midst between October 21 (April 21 + 6 mån) and October 25 (April 25 + 6 mån), was the Crooked-Clawed. In the Era of Bharani that would have been 100 days before the "December solstice. Names carry meaning and the peculiar word crooked could serve as a key:
... They go inland at the land. The child nursed and tended grows up, is able to go and play. Each day he now goes off a bit further away, moving some distance away from the house, and then returns to their house. So it goes on and the child is fully grown and goes to play far away from the place where they live. He goes over to where some work is being done by a father and son. Likāvaka is the name of the father - a canoe-builder, while his son is Kiukava. Taetagaloa goes right over there and steps forward to the stern of the canoe saying - his words are these: 'The canoe is crooked.' (kalo ki ama). Instantly Likāvaka is enraged at the words of the child. Likāvaka says: 'Who the hell are you to come and tell me that the canoe is crooked?' Taetagaloa replies: 'Come and stand over here and see that the canoe is crooked.' Likāvaka goes over and stands right at the place Taetagaloa told him to at the stern of the canoe. Looking forward, Taetagaloa is right, the canoe is crooked. He slices through all the lashings of the canoe to straighten the timbers. He realigns the timbers. First he must again position the supports, then place the timbers correctly in them, but Kuikava the son of Likāvaka goes over and stands upon one support. His father Likāvaka rushes right over and strikes his son Kuikava with his adze. Thus Kuikava dies. Taetagaloa goes over at once and brings the son of Likāvaka, Kuikava, back to life. Then he again aligns the supports correctly and helps Likāvaka in building the canoe. Working working it is finished ... The planet Mars on the other hand (in contrast to Mercury) seems to point to where there should be a well ordered balance at right ascension day *216 (→ 2 * 108) = *41 + *175 (→ half *350). ... Ira, Raparenga, Uure, Nonoma, and Ringiringi got up and left the 'Dark abyss of Hau Maka' (i.e., Rano Kau), arrived at Hanga Te Pau, put the canoe into the water, and sailed off to Hiva, to Maori. Ira left on the twenty-fifth day of the month of October (Tangaroa Uri). When Ira's canoe reached the islets (off the southwestern coast), Makoi (who was staying behind) shouted the following (after him): Eight lands (are there), one has been found (or, an eighth land has been found for the first time, evaru kainga katahi i revaa), that is, Te Pito O Te Kainga. During the fast journey, one cannot find the seven lands in the midst of dim twilight. Once (Easter Island) has been lost, not even eight groups of people (i.e., countless boat crews) can find (it) again. - Ruhi to the right, Pu to the left, necklace around the neck of Hinariru at Papa O Rae! [E:86] October 22 (according to my deduced era for the rongorongo writings) was day 10 * 29½ (*215) where the Sun would have risen simultaneously with Arcturus (*215.4) - although the Arabs did not list this important star. *215.4 - *41.4 = *174 → 6 * 29 (→ Mercury). Notably Mars would be seen to follow immediately after Khambalia in the evening of October 22 (295) AD 2023:
And in the evening of April 14 (104), we remember, the place of Mars had been determined to be immediately before Mebsuta (*100).
There was order everywhere but suddenly the sky was moving on.
