... In other words, the ancient Druidic religion
based on the oak-cult will be swept away by
Christianity and the door - the god Llyr - will
languish forgotten in the
Castle of Arianrhod,
the Corona Borealis. This helps us to
understand the relationship at Rome of Janus and
the White Goddess Cardea who is ... the Goddess
of Hinges who came to Rome from Alba Longa. She
was the hinge on which the year swung - the
ancient Latin, not the Etruscan year - and her
importance as such is recorded in the Latin
adjective cardinalis - as we say in
English 'of cardinal importance - which was also
applied to the four main winds; for winds were
considered as under the sole direction of the
Great Goddess until Classical times ......
... The Mayan 20-day skeleton
tree month Kankin was beginning with day 261 (=
9 * 29) and ending with day 280.
261 - 20 = 241 and
therefore we might guess the previous 'red meat'
month (Mac) was beginning not with day 241 but
with day 242 because that was the position of
Vathorz Posterior. Here the Tree was still
living and in good shape - not a skeleton but
still with meat on
...
... And
therefore we can guess that the
Phaistos Disc
carries 123 + 118
glyphs because of the difference 123 - 118 = 5
(= 241 - 236)

... The Mahabharata insists on six as the number
of the Pleiades as well as of the mothers of Skanda
and gives a very broad and wild description of the birth and the
installation of Kartikeya 'by the assembled gods ... as
their generalissimo', which is shattering, somehow, driving home
how little one understands as yet. The least which can be said,
assuredly: Mars was 'installed' during a more or less close
conjunction of all planets; in Mbh. 9.45 (p. 133) it is stressed
that the powerful gods assembled 'all poured water upon
Skanda, even as the gods had poured water on the head of
Varuna, the lord of waters, for investing him with
dominion'. And this 'investiture' took place at the beginning of
the Krita Yuga, the Golden Age

Luckily I have in my library an overview of the Dresden Codex.
When looking for some sign which could support my ideas I was
struck by the fact that the page numbered 74 was not the last page in the
manuscript. Instead the last page was number 45. I think it was
no coincidence that the Pleiades were denoted M45 (in the Messier
catalogue).
This is the structure of the Dresden Codex::
1-23 |
24, 46-74 |
25-45 |
23 |
29 |
21 |
73 |
50 |
21 |
← |
And as the Mayas evidently saw time running from right to
left (in the night), page number 45 was presumably not the last but the first page.
Time was running down from page number 45 to page 1.

MARCH 22 (*1) |
... There was no water in the
village. The lakes and rivers were dry. Raven and Crow,
two young girls who were having their first menstrual
courses, were told to go and draw water from the ocean.
Finding the journey too long, Raven decided just to
urinate into her basket-bucket. She decieved no one and
was severly scolded. Crow
returned much later but with drinking water. As a
punishment, Raven was condemned never to find water in
the summer; only in winter would she find something to
drink. For that reason the Raven never drinks during the
hot months; she speaks with a raucous voice because of
her dry throat ... |
Broad daylight (ko koe ra) would have occurred when the Full Moon
ideally was at the Crow (having fetched fresh
water) and the Eye of the Bull would then have been in MARCH 22
(*1).. Possibly *1 ↔ *65 could have
been perceived as 'page 21' - i.e. after this day (MARCH 21, 144
- 64 = 80) had been
completely finished.
... Time flows and
not until its first measure has been completed in full can there
be 1 notched into the wood
...
In other words, page 74 could
correspond to right ascension day *65 - *21 = *44 - in the
Golden Age of the Bull it was still nighttime and time was running
witherhins:

The 'golden fleece' (the Sun) was
born from the horizon in the east after the left nipple between the
horns of the Bull.
