38. → 60 - 22 = 80 - 42 We should document the fact that it was not the White Spot (blaze) at the throat (ξ) of Cepheus but the Lucky King (α) at the right shoulder of Aquarius (the Great One) which was referred to at the Chinese 12th station Rooftop:
Sadalmelik was much brighter and, more to the point, located very close to declination 0º.
Significantly Sadalmelik - together with Al Kurhah (ξ Cephei) and Kae Uh (Roof, ο Aquarii) - were at the right ascension line for 22h. And February 18 (31 + 18 = 49 = 414 - 365). Or "January 8 (373 - 365) = 49 - 41.
The star named Alrai (the Shepherd), γ Cephei, marked the very top of the Cepheus King - not far from Polaris - and since King Cepheus (the father of Andromeda) was from Ethiopia his skin ought to have been black.
... Alrai (γ Cephei) is just outside the circular path of the pole, and according to Wikipedia the north pole will be positioned close to Alrai around 4000 A.D. Earlier, around 2500 B.C., the pole star was Thuban (α Draconis) ... We can assume that Metoro had this phenomenon in mind when he at the beginning of side b of the C tablet said the sky was moving (maeva) - meaning the top of the sky and the point of spring equinox were not fixed forever but moved due to the precession (of the solar cardinal points). Maeva. T. 1. Move. Rangi-maeva = Moving Sky (name of a marae). 2. Greet, greeting. Henry. Polaris (the current north pole star) was at the end of side a of the C tablet and at the beginning of side a was the place which in Roman times had been assigned for 0h (the First Point in Aries) - given that the Gregorian map had ruled also in Roman times:
