Remarkably the first of the 4 tao glyphs on side b (Gb1-24) is involved in a group with two rau hei glyphs occupying exactly the same positions (1-22 respectively 1-25) as the pair of tao glyphs on side a:
Gb1-20 (250) Gb1-21 Gb1-22
Gb1-23 (253) Gb1-24 Gb1-25

At least sometimes the meaning of rau hei glyphs is similar to that of toa glyphs (as is evident from the parallel night calendars in H/P/Q in contrast to that of A).

Another pair of rau hei glyphs with ordinal numbers 22 and 25 come close to the end of the sequence of 31 periods with kiore + henua:

27
Ga6-21 Ga6-22 Ga6-23
28
Ga6-24 Ga6-25 Ga6-26
Rau hei in Ga6-25 has ordinal number 166 which is similar to ordinal number 266 (at Te Pou) and 366 (at the end of the year):
88 8
Ga6-25 (166) Gb1-25 (255) Gb2-9 Gb2-10 (266) Gb2-11 Gb2-12
90 12
102

Ordinal numbers are counted from Gb8-30. The 2nd tao glyph on side b comes 14 days after the 1st one:

12
Gb1-23 Gb1-24 (254) Gb1-25 Gb2-12 (268)

2 * 12 = 24 suggests that Gb1-24 and Gb2-12 form a pair. The sequence of glyphs between them are worthy of a closer look.

Gb1-20 Gb1-21 Gb1-22 Gb1-23 Gb1-24 (0) Gb1-25
Gb1-26 Gb2-1 Gb2-2 (4) Gb2-3 Gb2-4 Gb2-5
Gb2-6 Gb2-7 Gb2-8 (10) Gb2-9 Gb2-10 Gb2-11
Gb2-12 (14) Gb2-13 Gb2-14 Gb2-15 Gb2-16 Gb2-17 (19)

These 24 glyphs can be arranged e.g. in 4 groups of double triplets. Counting beyond tao in Gb1-24 we will reach 19 at haś in Gb2-17, where there are 19 'feathers'.

Between Gb1-25 and Gb2-9 there are 9 glyphs which - following the lead of a structure with triplets of glyphs - can be interpreted as a calendar for the week which begins with Saturn:

Gb1-26 Gb2-1 Gb2-2 Gb2-3 Gb2-4 Gb2-5
Saturn Sun Moon Mars
Gb2-6 Gb2-7 Gb2-8 Gb2-9 Gb2-10 Gb2-11
Mercury Jupiter Venus Sirius

The pattern suggests, however, that Sirius (Te Pou) in some way is the equivalent of Mars. The similarity probably is that both Mars and Sirius introduce new seasons. They stand at the 'doors' between seasons. Mars brings the spring 'fire' and Sirius could represent the 'fire' of the night sky.

Where is Te Pou? I have just suggested it lies on the border between Gb2-11 and Gb2-12:

Gb2-9 Gb2-10 Gb2-11 Gb2-12 (266)
Gb2-13 Gb2-14 (268) Gb2-15
Gb2-16 Gb2-17 Gb2-18

229 glyphs on side a (counted from Ga1-1) together with 26 in line b1 add up to 255, and 9 * 29.5 = 265.5, i.e. we should count 10½ glyphs into line b2. Gb2-11 is number 266, not Gb2-12.

And then we have not begun counting from Gb8-30, in which case Gb2-10 would be number 266. But then Gb2-12 would be number 268 and Gb2-14 number 270.

Gb2-14 has number 9 * 30 = 270 and its bottom resembles that in Gb2-10 (266), but - as I happened to notice - even more that in Gb7-28:

168
Gb2-14 Gb7-28
270 439

Although it is uncertain from where counting should begin, the distances can be defined. If Sirius is like the spring sun, then, of course, we should expect 168 to pop up somewhere close to Te Pou.
