The triangular head in GD15 perhaps signifies the same thing as benben, the one at the top of the hierarchy? The one who is alone and without competition, El Numero Uno.

But we shall not enforce the human picture, these glyphs are probably just symbols. The two ears / eyes might be just sun-signs and the apex between them exactly that. An apex similar to that for illustrating the maximum of the month.

I think this is a good idea, a fruitful idea, an idea that can be tested. Let's remember it, not follow it now.

Though I must add one thing, an observation I made the other day while working with the daily routine of documenting the words Metoro used when reading Tahua. What I noticed was this:

Aa1-24 Ha6--1-2 Pa5--47-48 Qa5--51-52
ko te nuahine -  i mamau i te ahi

The word 'nuahine' reminds me about that old lady kindling the fire at full moon and here we are at 'full day'. Why at full moon? Why not at new moon? The question reminds me of a similar mystery that Posnansky has documented:

"... a tradition which is still in existence in present-day folklore and the origins of which is surely very ancient ... 'the celestial Puma eats the Moon little by little until the time of the Full Moon and then lets it grow, also little by little, until another Full [Sic! '... hasta otro Luna Llena... '] Moon' ... "
