39. We have seen that in December 7 AD 2023 the planet Mars will be located above Antares in the Scorpion and close to the star ω Ophiuchi: A line of sight goes up at the SEPTEMBER EQUINOX from Antares, via ω and φ Ophiuchi to Marfik (λ).
And in that day the planet Mercury will be at Kaus Borealis (λ Sagittarii), at a position which is *279 (λ Sagittarii) - *249 (λ Ophiuchi) = *30 right ascension days later: The plane of the ecliptic circus seems to cut across the Milky Way River from the gate between M20 (Trifid Nebula) and M8 (Lagoon) to λ.(Kaus Borealis) in the asterism named the South Dipper: ... 'I wan't a clean cup', interrupted the Hatter: 'let's all move one place on.' He moved as he spoke, and the Dormouse followed him: the March Hare moved into the Dormouse's place, and Alice rather unwillingly took the place of the March Hare. The Hatter was the only one who got any advantage from the change; and Alice was a good deal worse off than before, as the March Hare had just upsed the milk-jug into his plate ... Consulting Cartes du Ciel, looking for when the planet Mars will reach Kaus Borealis, it becomes clear that he will be close in January 13 AD 2024, whereas Mercury now will have retrograded:
