227 ↔ π. Here I remembered what had happened when the culture of Mycene from the Greek mainland conquered the ancient Minoan culture on Crete (information from a TV-program about the long and ardous process of trying to decipher the Cretan text systems Linear A and Linear B). The old Minoan culture on Crete was radically different from that of the invading Greek warriors, and evidently they therefore totally deleted it, stamped it out because it was not possible to integrate with their own system of ideas. Or, more likely, they did not even try to; they already knew what was right. The wall paintings and other aspects of art which previously were dominated by beautiful ladies and pastoral scenes instead became rather crude pictures of male warriors and their deeds (cfr the Standard of Ur). For example, the golden Minoan pendant below, which has been said to illustrate the Master of Animals, has its central figure depicted as a woman with bare breasts:
Possibly the Master of Animals corresponded to the Lord of Created Beings. There was no Horse present in the Charioteer constellation. And Auriga sounds very much like an allusion to Gold (Au).
And the gold pendant just above has been said to illustrate how a pair of bees together are depositing a drop of nectar to their Hive (→ Hiva). I think this place could correspond to the star named Beehive (*130) in Cancer. When the golden Sun rose at the Beehive the Full Moon should therefore ideally be close to the right ascension line for *314 (→ π → 227).
And we should also think of the Nose of the (Sun) Lion, corresponding to my glyph type heu-heu. Furthermore, the Tea-pot asterism was ideally visible close to the Full Moon when the Sun was at the right ascension line for 7h.
The greatest impression for me, however, was the fact that the Sea and its inhabitants was not a theme from the Minoans (as I had earlier thought) but was instead a feature brought along by the invading peoples. I think this was becauze the Sea and its dangerous creatures was a more important aspect for the invaders than for the old pastoral female oriented Minoans.
But, crucially, critically, our modern western view of the world is also based on that of the classical Greek and Roman warrior civilizations.
Indeed, we can find the basic ideas already in the Old Testament - women were like cattle. And even Ogotemmêli whispered so as the women would not hear him reveal anything from his closely guarded male cosmos. And the women guarded their mouths with pieces of cloth in order not to disturb the thoughts of man.
