Another possibility to search for
the final of the Chorti sky-raising ceremonies could be to
follow the example of the planet Mars and move from April 25 AD
2023 to April 25 AD 2025, because the day JUNE 10, 161 → Golden
Mean → Fibonacci number φ = (√5 + 1) / 2), was hardly a
pure coincidence:

This was the date pronounced in the head gear of
the Mad Hatter when he was old, when he
was looking back with only the left half of his
face in full view.
... And then she looked in
her hand, she inspected it right away, but the bone's saliva
wasn't in her hand. It is just a sign I have given you, my
saliva, my spittle. This, my head, has nothing on it - just
bone, nothing of meat. It's just the same with the head of a
great lord: it's just the flesh that makes his face look
good. And when he dies, people get frightened by his bones.
After that, his son is like his saliva, his spittle, in his
being, whether it be the son of a lord or the son of a
craftsman, an orator ...

All Hearts' Day |
... On
February 9 the Chorti Ah K'in,
'diviners', begin the
agricultural year. Both the
260-day cycle and the solar year
are used in setting dates for
religious and agricultural
ceremonies, especially when
those rituals fall at the same
time in both calendars. The
ceremony begins when the
diviners go to a sacred spring
where they choose five stones
with the proper shape and color.
These stones will mark the five
positions of the sacred
cosmogram created by the ritual.
When the stones are brought back
to the ceremonial house, two
diviners start the ritual by
placing the stones on a table in
a careful pattern that
reproduces the schematic of the
universe. At the same time,
helpers under the table replace
last year's diagram with the new
one. They believe that by
placing the cosmic diagram under
the base of God at the center of
the world they demonstrate that
God dominates the universe. The
priests place the stones in a
very particular order. First the
stone that corresponds to the
sun in the eastern, sunrise
position of summer solstice is
set down; then the stone
corresponding to the western,
sunset position of the same
solstice. This is followed by
stones representing the western,
sunset position of the winter
solstice, then its eastern,
sunrise position. Together these
four stones form a square. They
sit at the four corners of the
square just as we saw in the
Creation story from the Classic
period and in the Popol Vuh.
Finally, the center stone is
placed to form the ancient
five-point sign modern
researchers called the quincunx

This place was where the month of Father
Light (Jus Piter, Jupiter) was
destined to begin:
... Midsummer is the flowering season of
the oak, which is the tree of endurance and triumph, and
like the ash is said to 'court the lightning flash'. Its
roots are believed to extend as deep underground as its
branches rise in the air - Virgil mentions this - which
makes it emblematic of a god whose law runs both in Heaven
and in the Underworld ... The month, which takes its name
from Juppiter the oak-god, begins on June 10th and ends
of July 7th. Midway comes St. John's Day, June 24th, the day
on which the oak-king was sacrificially burned alive. The
Celtic year was divided into two halves with the second half
beginning in July, apparently after a seven-day wake, or
funeral feast, in the oak-king's honour ...
Day number 161 (= 171 - 10 = 172 - 11) for June 10.

... The 'Candelabra' has a rectangular,
box-like base, enclosing a circle, out
of which rises the representation of a
wide central vertical bar, more than 240
meters in length, running north to
south. This is crossed, about one-third
of the way up, by a triangular
contraption running east to west for
some 120 meters, supporting two shorter
vertical bars. All three bars are
surmounted by curious patterns generally
interpreted as flames or rays of light.
Because of its auspicious geodetic
location half-way round the world from
Angkor and 108
degrees west of Giza - sites that
both 'resemble the sky' by modelling
specific constellations on the ground -
we have naturally considered the
possibility that the Candelabra could be
a work of celestial imitation ... |

And this
was evidently a result of how
the Pope Gregory XIII
had drastically shifted the days in the Julian
calendar ahead with 10-11 days:
... Gregory dropped 10 days to bring the
calendar back into synchronisation with the seasons.
Accordingly, when the new calendar was put in use, the error
accumulated in the 13 centuries since the Council of Nicaea
was corrected by a deletion of ten days. The Julian calendar
day Thursday, 4 October 1582 was followed by the first day
of the Gregorian calendar, Friday, 15 October 1582 (the
cycle of weekdays was not affected) ...
The reform was adopted initially by the Catholic countries
of Europe. Protestants and Eastern Orthodox countries
continued to use the traditional Julian calendar and adopted
the Gregorian reform after a time, for the sake of
convenience in international trade. The last European
country to adopt the reform was Greece, as late as 1923 ...
Britain and the British Empire (including the eastern part
of what is now the United States) adopted the Gregorian
calendar in 1752, by which time it was necessary to correct
by 11 days. Wednesday, 2 September 1752, was followed by
Thursday, 14 September 1752. Claims that rioters demanded
'Give us our eleven days' grew out of a misinterpretation of
a painting by William Hogarth:
