been completed the double canoe of king Hotu A Matua sailed away
from his old homeland in September 2:

The date given as September 2 had
caused me much trouble, because I was unable to make it fit in
any reasonable way with Ga6-6:

For the dates must fit perfectly.
Now, however, we can see what might have been meant. The
old homeland of king Hotu A Matua was presumably located beyond the end of
the Sun calendar year, which means we should look at the
nakshatra dates.
And then we will find that in the Golden Age of the Bull the day
when the Sun reached Fomalhaut was the last day of DECEMBER
(anciently the winter months counted only 29 nights)::
