Although an old constellation, Cetus is by no means of special interest, except as possessing the south pole of the Milky Way and the Wonderful Star, the variable Mira; and from the fact that it is a condensation point of nebulae directly across the sphere from Virgo, also noted in this respect ...

Instead, the little twinkling star at the neck of Cetus - when ideally observed close to the right ascension line at the Full Moon - would tell about the simultaneous 'change station' in Virgo for the Sun (and the other planets).

Viz. the change from λ to υ - from met to emet, from death to life, from Zayin (ζ) to Ayin (ο).

I.e., turning around from Lambda (Λ to Y-psilon (Υ).

The sands of time had run out and consequently the hour-glass had to be turned around.

The drums were sounding (rutua te pahu) to call attention. For it was indeed August 13 - i.e. 5 months before January 13 (Knut):
