The theme was evidently that of how the sweet waters of spring.were necessary for rebuilding life down on Mother Earth.

But the single rona on side a of the C tablet had evidently been placed later than Aquarius, viz. in the Square of Pegasus, where reasonably the waters indundating the Field illustrated what would happen after the streams of fresh water had arrived down on terra firma.

By the way we cannot avoid noticing that the Swallow between the Great One and the Field occurs also as a hint at the 12th Chinese station, at Sadalmelik, at 22h (→ π).

Swallows swallow insects (which also bats are living on).

... From a religious point of view, the high regard for flies, whose increase or reduction causes a similar increase or reduction in the size of the human population, is interesting, even more so because swarms of flies are often a real nuisance on Easter Island, something most visitors have commented on in vivid language. The explanation seems to be that there is a parallel relationship between flies and human souls, in this case, the souls of the unborn. There is a widespread belief throughout Polynesia that insects are the embodiment of numinous beings, such as gods or the spirits of the dead, and this concept extends into Southeast Asia, where insects are seen as the embodiment of the soul ...

And on Easter Island the return of the Sea Swallow (manu tara) marked the beginning of the new year.

... Manu rere meant flying beast in general and could therefore refer to both bats and insects (as well as to birds):

... Several of the early missionaries comment with a fine sense of humor upon the mistake the islanders made in calling the cow when first seen a bird. This is the word which led the good missionaries into the error of their own ignorance. Manu is as wholesale in its signification as our word animal, it is generic. In the paucity of brute mammalia the first missionaries found this general term most frequently used of birds, and it was their and not a Polynesian mistake to translate manu into bird. In the material here collected it will be seen that the significations animal and bird are widely extended. In the Paumotu insects are included; the same is true of Mota, where manu signifies beetle as well as bird. Nor is its applicability restricted to earth and air; it reaches into the sea as well. Samoa uses i'amanu (fish-animal) for the whale ...

I have assumed the beginning of side on the C tablet was beginning where the Full Moon ideally should be visible at the place for September 21 (264, *184), corresponding to the Gregorian calendar day of March 22 (81, *1). Which implies that 349 days later the Full Moon ideally should be visible at the right ascension day *184 + *349 - *366 = *167 corresponding to the place for day 80 + 167 = 247 = September 4. And *184 + *349 + *183 - *366 = *350 = 15 days before March 21 (80).

And 91 (April 1) at Ca14-14 - 24 = 67 (March 8) at Ca13-10.

Niu. Palm tree, coconut tree; hua niu, coconut. Vanaga. Coconut, palm, spinning top.  P Pau., Ta.: niu, coconut. Mgv.: niu, a top; niu mea, coconut. Mq.: niu, coconut, a top. Churchill. The fruit of miro. Buck. T. 1. Coconut palm. 2. Sign for peace. Henry  The sense of top lies in the fact that the bud end of a coconut shell is used for spinning, both in the sport of children and as a means of applying to island life the practical side of the doctrine of chances. Thus it may be that in New Zealand, in latitudes higher than are grateful to the coconut, the divination sense has persisted even to different implements whereby the arbitrament of fate may be declared.
