Jupiter (Gb5-13) governs Thursday, and he is male. He also should govern Gb6-25 (obviously a male) if honu in Gb6-26 is Venus:
In Gb5-13 the rising fish exhibits another orientation of its body (bulging more to the left) than the following three fishes. Presumably it indicates a point of change between Gb5-13 and Gb5-14. In the calendar of the week in H there are three manu rere, one of them at the end of Thursday. I think manu rere indicates the 'vital spirit who is flying away' (or something similar). The upward motion can also be represented as a fist held high as in Gb6-25. Then, suddenly, it all begins anew, and the 'fist' is at the bottom in form of a swollen abdomen. A closed fist means nothing has yet begun to be counted. Everything is still waiting, hidden inside. Maybe the rhombic shape (a square) inside the Jupiter rising fish signifies this. And it seems to allude to mauga:
Light is inside the pau foot in Gb5-12, probably alluding to the quicksilver which runs downwards. But already in Tuesday (Gb5-11) the light is inside, in form of the rhomb which reapperas not only in Gb5-13 (and in mauga) but also in Gb5-18, another representation of Mars. The square inside may be a way to indicate that the cycle (which should be squared) is waiting to be born. Mars stole the fire, which explains why there is a square hidden inside in Gb5-11 and in Gb5-18 (one week later). The strange sign inside the top (at right) of the 4 fishes (Venus, Saturn, Sun, and Mars), probably indicates a reversed feather (fire). If a feather sign is inside the perimeter of a glyph, it is hidden and cannot be seen:
We can observe that the Mars fish in Gb5-18 indicates a reversal again (cfr from Jupiter to Venus earlier). Maybe the moon (female) in some way signifies the end of a cycle. Or maybe the shape is just a repetition of the shape of Jupiter. The shape of the tail in Gb5-18 also agrees with that in Gb5-13:
