I have decided to add explanatory pages to the first two pages of the excursion in tao:

...

Evidence 'proves' Ga1-22 to be the starting point of the sun journey.

...

Evidence suggests this way of counting the kuhane stations may have been intended.

...

The discovery of 450 at Gb8-30 is too important to neglect, and likewise the idea of a calendar stretching for longer than a cycle because of repetition. Already from the concept of a fortnight we should have grasped the force of the twin concept.

"At Time Zero (say, 5000 B.C. - there are reasons for this approximate date), the sun was in Gemini; it moved ever so slowly from Gemini into Taurus, then Aries, then Pisces, which it still occupies and will for some centuries more." (Hamlet's Mill)

The first added page:

Ga1-18 Ga1-19 Ga1-20 Ga1-21
468 = 168 + 300 469 470 471
Ga1-22 Ga1-23 Ga1-24 Ga1-25
472 473 474 475 = 19 * 25
Ga1-26 Ga1-27 Ga1-28 Ga1-29 Ga1-30
476 = 17 * 28 477 478 479 480 = 16 * 30

Ordinal number -18 is in harmony with ordinal number 468. Neither 168 nor 300 are numbers divisible by 18, but their sum is: 468 = 18 * 26. The curious glyph Ga1-18, with an allusion to a dark viri at bottom, suggests a new sun is needed. The 'eye' could be interpreted as the sun 'in front' (soon to come), but it is a hole - a vacancy to be filled.

475 at Ga1-25 of course should be read as 19 * 25 ('fire-fire') - i.e. the last 'period' (18) is in the past. In Ga1-26 the bottom viri suddenly has turned around (compared with Ga1-18). Its inside is now visible, it is on the outside.

Ordinal number 476 can be understood as 14 * 34, as 17 * 28, or as 7 * 68. None of these versions is in harmony with ordinal number -26. Presumably we should relate Ga1-26 to Ga1-18 not only visually but also numerically:

Ga1-18 Ga1-26
468 = 18 * 26 476 = 450 + 26

Similarly, the 'canoes' in Ga1-25 and Ga1-30 appear to be also numerically in harmony:

Ga1-25 Ga1-30
475 = 19 * 25 480 = 16 * 30

With 19 * 25 = 475 at tao in Ga1-22 it is significant to find 18 * 25 = 450 located at Gb8-30:

24
Gb8-30 Ga1-25
450 = 18 * 25 475 = 19 * 25

We have here support for counting the kuhane stations from Gb8-30.

450 = 5 quarters à 90 days. 4 quarters = 360 days would then be close to the end of glyph line b5:

a1 21 471 b1 26 234
9 9
a2 29 38 b2 35 268
a3 24 62 b3 30 299
a4 27 89 b4 33 332
a5 30 118 b5 29 360
a6 29 148 b6 28 389
a7 34 182 b7 31 420
a8 26 208 b8 30 450

With black I have marked numbers which result if the counting begins 1 glyph beyond Ga1-22. For example 118 = 4 * 29.5:

21
Ga5-30 Ga6-1 Ga6-2 Ga6-3 Ga6-4
118 120 121 122 123

At the end of glyph line b2 the next blackmarked number 268 is close to 266.5 = 9 * 29.5

Gb2-32 Gb2-33 Gb2-34 Gb2-35 Gb3-1
266 267 268 268 270
Gb3-2 Gb3-3 Gb3-4 Gb3-5 Gb3-6
270 272 273 274 275

Ga6-1 could show that the 5th month is beginning (120 / 4 = 30). Similarly Gb3-1 could show the beginning of the 10th month (270 / 9 = 30). Gb3-2 could be an explanatory addition, with the same number if counted from Ga1-23.

Working according to this idea, we can understand Ga6-2 in a similar vein as an explanatory addition:

Ga1-22 Ga1-23 Ga6-1 Ga6-2
1 1 120 120

There are 150 glyphs (days) from Ga6-1 to Gb3-1:

Ga6-1 Ga6-2 Gb3-1 Gb3-2
120 120 270 270

270 + 150 = 420. This occurs at the end of glyph line Gb7:

Gb7-31 Gb8-1 Gb8-2 Gb8-3 Gb8-4 Gb8-5
420 420 422 423 424 425

425 at Gb8-5 is no accident, it is equal to 17 * 25. One Tea is at the end of the moon journey from west to east. 420 we recognize as similar to 360, and here it becomes equal to 360 + 60.

We can summarize:

'spring'

5 * 30

'autumn'

5 * 30

Ga6-1 Ga6-2 Gb3-1 Gb3-2
120 121 270 271
Gb2-34 Gb2-35 Gb7-29 Gb7-30
268 269 418 419

471 - 300 = 171 = 9 * 19:

30 141 = 3 * 47
Gb7-31 Gb8-1 Gb8-30 Ga1-1
420 421 450 451
Gb8-28 Gb8-29 Ga5-29 Ga5-30
448 449 589 590 = 20 * 29.5

10 * 29.5, the halfway station, is at the close of glyph line b3:

Gb3-25 Gb3-26 Gb3-27 Gb3-28 Gb3-29 Gb3-30 Gb4-1
294 295 296 297 298 299 300
Gb4-2 Gb4-3 Gb4-4 Gb4-5
301 302 303 304

360 is at the close of glyph line b5:

Gb5-29 Gb6-1 Gb6-2 Gb6-3 Gb6-4
360 361 362 363 364
Gb6-5 Gb6-6 Gb6-7
365 366 367
Gb6-8 Gb6-9 Gb6-10
368 369 370
Gb6-11 Gb6-12 Gb6-13
371 372 373
Gb6-14 Gb6-15 Gb6-16
374 375 376
Gb6-17 Gb6-18 Gb6-19 Gb6-20 Gb6-21 Gb6-22 Gb6-23 Gb6-24
377 378 379 380 = 20 * 19 381 382 383 384 = 13 * 29.5 + ½

All evidence point at glyphs and numbers being in harmony.
