The declination says Ana-roto should be located in the summer half of the year:

1

Ana-mua, entrance pillar

Antares, α Scorpii

-26° 19'  16h 26

2

Ana-muri, rear pillar (at the foot of which was the place for tattooing)

Aldebaran, α Tauri

16° 25'  04h 33

3

Ana-roto, middle pillar

Spica, α Virginis

-10° 54'  13h 23

Roto Iri Are, on the other hand, comes late in the year and definitely is in the winter half. But Hine Takurua should also be taken care of by the sun. A new sun baby will be born both in the north and in the south, but half a year apart.

With 24 hours for spinning the sky around, and Antares at 16h 26 = 986 minutes, we will, however, find Spica arriving earlier, at 13 h 23 = 803 minutes.

(986 - 803) / 24 * 60 = 183 / 1440 = 0.127, i.e. equal to 0.127 * 365.25 = 46 days earlier.

183 = 366 / 2 and 46 we also recognize.

But we can alternatively count long, and then Spica will arrive 365.25 * (1 - 0.127) = 319 days later than Ana-mua.

If we change from 365.25 to 360 we arrive at 314 days after Ana-mua, maybe a way to allude to the cycle ending at midsummer. If sun is born together with Ana-mua, he could be mature a quarter later, at midsummer.

Counting long from 'entrance' to 'rear' we have Ana-muri at 28 h 33 = 1713. And 1713 - 986 = 727, i.e. 727 / 1440 * 360 = 182 days later. Perfect! The Creator has given us a sign.

Let us return to Hua Reva. Maybe it is to be found at the 10th pillar:

10

Ana-nia, pillar-to-fish-by

North Star, α Ursae Minoris

89° 02'  01h

Remarkably it is located exactly at 1h. It could mean that the glyphs at the beginning of side a in G are referring to the past year and the time needed for the North Star to come forth.

01h means ½ month beyond autumn equinox south of the equator. 360 / 24 = 15.

Hua Reva is at 295. If days are counted from winter solstice, then autumn equinox comes around day 270 (= ¾ of 360). But 295 - 270 = 25 is too long. The days (glyphs) must be counted from some point ca 10 days later. Only then could Hua Reva arrive at 1h.

Autumn equinox should arrive around 270 + 15 = 285 = 10 * 28.5. It could mean the counting from Gb8-30 is related not to winter solstice but to a point ca 10 days earlier.

On the other hand, I doubt we should shake the foundation. Instead Gb2-29 (285) surely is the sign we need:

57
Gb2-27 Gb2-28 Gb2-29 (285) Gb2-30 Gb2-31
58
Gb2-32 Gb2-33 Gb2-34 (290) Gb2-35 Gb3-1
59
Gb3-2 Gb3-3 Gb3-4 (295) Gb3-5 Gb3-6
60
Gb3-7 Gb3-8 Gb3-9 (300) Gb3-10 Gb3-11
61
Gb3-12 Gb3-13 Gb3-14 (305) Gb3-15 Gb3-16
62
Gb3-17 Gb3-18 Gb3-19 (310) Gb3-20 Gb3-21

Gb2-27 has a hipu at left and vai at right, Ca7-14 has a hua at left and marama at right:

Ca7-13 Ca7-14 (26) Ca7-15 Ca7-16 Ca7-17 Ca7-18

6 as in sun at left in Ca7-14 could mean hua is sun. The moon (marama) is at right. Vai is at right in Gb2-27, which suggests it should be the sun. And hipu at left should be the moon.

We have tentatively identified the 'fish being uplifted' kuhane station with the 10th Tahitian 'pillar', the 'pillar to fish by' (Ana-nia, the North Star). At Hua Reva sun is quickly hoisted up to the North Pole, presumably to be reborn north of the equator at this time (or somewhat later).
