At the beginning of the G text another 22 - 25 pair appears:

Ga1-22 Ga1-25 Ga5-10 Ga6-9 Ga7-14 Ga7-19
Ga8-19 Gb1-24 Gb2-12 Gb2-22 Gb2-32 Gb2-35

Gb3-2 Gb7-17 Gb7-23 Gb8-4

This pair is in contrast to such pairs as Ga6-22, 25 and Gb1-22, 25:

85
Ga6-22 Ga6-23 Ga6-24 Ga6-25 (166) Gb1-22 Gb1-23 Gb1-24 Gb1-25 (255)

The distance between the tao pair and the pair of rau hei in line a6 is 10 fortnights:

140 88 8
Ga1-25 Ga6-25 (166) Gb1-25 (255) Gb2-9 Gb2-10 (266)
100
240

Can we find something similar in K?

Ga1-17 Ga1-18 Ga1-19 Ga1-20 Ga1-21 Ga1-22 Ga1-23 Ga1-24 Ga1-25
Ka1-21 Ka1-22 Ka1-23 Ka1-24 Ka2-1 (25) Ka2-2 Ka2-3 Ka2-4

First we notice how Ka1-22 (moon) here is reflected in Ka2-1 (tao) into a sign of sun (Ka2-4). Neither number 22 nor number 25 can agree with 22 and 25 in G. And tao in Ka2-1 is unusual in form.

Listing all tao glyphs in K we can guess there is a relationship between Ka1-9 and Ka2-1 on one hand and Ka2-4 and Kb1-13 on the other:

Ka1-9 Ka2-1
Ka2-4 Kb1-13
Kb4-18

But we can alternatively perceive this pattern, which seems to be more clear:

Ka1-9 Ka2-1
Ka2-4
Kb1-13 Kb4-18

Let us add ordinal numbers:

Ka1-9 (9) Ka2-1 (25)
Ka2-4 (29)
Kb1-13 (110) Kb4-18 (171)

171 - 110 = 61, as if two months. 9 and 25 forces me to look for the 3rd member of Pythagoras' theorem. But exactly here (as if a glyph pun) there are no less than 4 glyphs missing:

Ka1-9 Ka1-10 Ka1-11 Ka1-12
... ... ... ...
Ka1-13 Ka1-14 Ka1-15 Ka1-16
...
Ka1-17 Ka1-18 Ka1-19 Ka1-20

The strangely drawn right part of Ka1-11 can be imagined as having a rectangular triangle at its bottom left. Not one other vaha kai among all the rongorongo texts has any straight feature. It confirms that the missing unknown quantity (16 = 4 * 4) has been 'swallowed'.
