Tao in Gb2-12 is following Sirius like tao in Aa1-45 is following midnight:

Gb2-9 Gb2-10 Gb2-11 Gb2-12
Aa1-42 Aa1-43 Aa1-44 Aa1-45

But the little opening in the circumference at bottom in Aa1-45 says it is another type of tao than in Gb2-12.

The number pattern with 22 followed by 25, was first noted in Gb1-22 and Gb1-25, where the glyphs suggest that tao in Gb1-24 is related to the final of the sun and the strange glyph Gb1-21 is related to the final of the moon:

Gb1-20 (250) Gb1-21 Gb1-22
Gb1-23 (253) Gb1-24 Gb1-25

22 appears to be a sign for 'moon zero', and 25 a sign for 'sun zero'. But the heads are down and it should be zero at nadir.

250 and 253 are ghostly and mirror images - Gb1-20 clearly basically the same as Gb1-25 and Gb1-23 bascially the same as Gb1-22. It seems to be a 6-fold cycle:

Gb1-25 Gb1-20 Gb1-21

Gb1-22 Gb1-23 Gb1-24

The entrance to the discovery of 22 and 25 was through (22 + 1/8) * 8 = 177 (Nga Kope Ririva) and 176 = 8 * 22 as some kind of great π cycle closing:

Kb5-2 Kb5-3 Kb5-4 (176) Kb5-5 Kb5-6 Kb5-7

176 may be like a jumbled version of 167. Ika hiku in Kb4-16 (4 * 16 = 64) has a form similar to the rau hei glyphs under discussion.

Kb4-16 Kb4-17 Kb4-18
Gb1-22 Gb1-23 Gb1-24

Kb4-16 is still living, but Kb4-17 perhaps not. Kb4-16 refers to the moon, Kb4-18 to the sun. The sun child comes from the bulging moon, and then she dies.

In Kb4-18 we can count to 4 * 18 = 72 = 3 * 24 = 360 / 5.

Therefore the fat Gb2-10 should be illustrating the moon:

Gb2-9 Gb2-10 Gb2-11 Gb2-12

In Gb2-12 we read 2 * 12 = 24 (cfr Gb1-24 above) and Gb2-11 is a π glyph (2 * 11 = 22).

'Feathers' at the top seem to be correlated with a 'ghostly' bottom. The spirit of the dead will enter a new being.

Rau hei glyphs have only one tail (while ika hiku have two) but the meaning may be similar, we measured a quarter from 166 (= 266 - 100), but could have continued:

88 8
Ga6-25 (166) Gb1-25 (255) Gb2-9 Gb2-10 (266)
90 10
100

Moving backwards in time another 100 glyphs we find Ga3-6:

2
Ga3-6 (66) Ga3-7 Ga3-8 Ga3-9

The pau sign in Ga3-7 becomes understandable. A new sun fist is held high in the forward direction.

In K number 166 follows as a consequence of the preceding glyphs, but Sirius cannot be reached:

Kb4-10 Kb4-11 Kb4-12 Kb4-13 (166) Kb4-14
Kb4-15 Kb4-16 Kb4-17 Kb4-18 Kb4-19

A wealth of correlations appear, involving for instance ika hiku contra rau hei, ariki contra niu, tao contra toa, and the numbers are leading us (22 contra 25. 66, 166, 266, 366, and 666).
