The united twins in Hb9-42 are in contrast to the preceding pair. It means, I think, that there is a gap between Hb9-40 and Hb9-41, a gap in time. 9 * 42 = 378 and 378 - 360 = 18 could be the number of days from the end of the regular solar year to the beginning of next such year. Or it could mean that Hb9-42 stands at 18 multiples of 10 days, halfway to 360. If a new year is beginning at high summer, then it is firmly connected, it seems, with the previous one. The fingers in Hb9-41 are spreading out, a clear sign of spring. The fingers in Hb9-44 are somewhat wilting. The fingers in Hb9-46 are horizontal, indicating solstice. A time series beginning at winter solstice and ending at winter solstice could be the meaning. Maybe the glyphs should be grouped like this:
Although a little ball fruit emerges at the front end (at the knee in kava) both in Hb9-43 and Hb9-45, the ghostly state has arrived in Hb9-45 (where 9 * 45 = 5 * 81). The niu sign (top of Hb9-45) is the latest growth, and earlier (in Hb9-43) the end was neatly cut off. The orientation of kava in Hb9-43 is reversed in Hb9-45, a trait which in H is correlated with the niu sign:
Hb9-43 seems to be a later stage of Hb7-3:
The number of glyphs in H has been tentatively restored by me as twice 648 = twice 8 * 81 (cfr Hb9-45, where 9 * 45 = 5 * 81):
Inserting ordinal numbers we get:
Manipulating the numbers we could arrive at e.g.:
The united twins at Hb9-42 are at 1102 = 29 * 19 * 2 (and 551 = 29 * 19). We should notice puo in Hb7-6, the only of its kind in H:
Hb7-6 seems to be the end and new beginning:
Tagata with a mea ke sign stands at 7 * 4 = 28, which indicates that Hb7-5 must be at the '29th position', where new fire is ignited. Then puo (the hot air balloon rising from hipu) will come. Kai in Hb6-53 should be compared with those in Thursday:
Hb6-53 is leaning forward, indicating - it seems - the future. The curved back in Hb9-46 suggests an elderly person. In H there are 21 (redmarked below) uncomplicated kai glyphs according to my glyph catalogue:
14 are on side b and 7 on side a. A comparison between them is too much work for the present. |
