The order to read Tahua seems to be as Metoro did it, to begin with side b:

side b side a
117 271 274 183 486
Ab2-36 (118) Ab5-66 (390) Aa3-9 (848)
848 = 8 * 106 = 16 * 53

Hahe in Ab2-36 will then get number 118 which is in beautiful harmony with 2-36, alluding to 8 * 29.5. If we add 64, the day number can be read as 118 + 64 = 182 - which can be understood either as midsummer (counted from winter solstice) or as midwinter (counted from summer solstice).

At viri I made an observation regarding a possible hidden meaning in number 53:

... 99 is a number connecting to the cycle of Venus:

"After five complete cycles totaling 2,920 days, the movement of Venus fill eight idealized years of 365 days each and come within hours of spanning 99 lunations." (Popol Vuh)

2,920 / 99 = 29.49 and a synodic month is 29.53 days ...

The more exact number 29.53 incorporates the fraction 53 / 100. The beginning of the Keiti text is structured as 7 + 99 = 106 glyphs. And 628 - 106 = 522 = 18 * 29 is the number of the remaining glyphs of the text.

522, in turn, is equal to 18 * 29:

3 53 520 752
1279 1280 1334 1 522 1275
2 * 29 522 = 18 * 29 754 = 26 * 29

We can here see 20 * 29 = 580 = 58 + 522 counting from Aa8-27:

Aa8-26 (0) Aa8-27 Aa8-28 Aa8-29
Aa8-30 Aa8-31 Aa8-32 Aa8-33
Aa8-34 Aa8-35 Aa8-36 (10) Aa8-37
Aa8-38 Aa8-39 Aa8-40 Aa8-41
42 + 522 = 564
Aa8-42 (16)

It appears rather certain that when we begin to read Tahua at the beginning of side b we will have omitted to read from the real beginning at the end of side a. Vaha kai at Aa8-42 marks half 84 (up to glyph number 1334). Though we should have 3 months at the end of side b, not only those 59 days from the generation of fire:

Aa8-26 is glyph number 585 + 26 = 611 counted from Aa1-1.

a1 90 90 b1 82 82
a2 85 175 b2 85 167
a3 76 251 b3 77 244
a4 82 333 b4 80 324
a5 83 416 b5 80 404
a6 84 500 b6 92 496
a7 85 585 b7 84 580
a8 85 670 b8 84 664
sum 670 sum 664

Should we count with 29 days per month, the crucial glyph must be Aa7-83:

Aa7-70 Aa7-71 Aa7-72 Aa7-73 Aa7-74
Aa7-75 Aa7-76 Aa7-77 Aa7-78 Aa7-79
Aa7-80 Aa7-81 Aa7-82 (582) Aa7-83 Aa7-84
584 (at Aa7-84) / 2 = 292 = 29,200 / 100
Aa7-85 Aa8-1

The cycle of Venus is 584 days. 12 feathers around haś and 6 hanging down maro double months, together with the henua in Aa7-82, and other signs closes the case: This is probably where we should begin to read Tahua.

There are 3 months in 'hiding' (perhaps referred to by hahe glyphs), before the new ruler can appear in full glory:

"... Actually, when still young, this Vogulian 'World-observing Man' - Avolokiteshvara himself, this great and worshiped deity of Buddhist countries - was, like Kullervo, a much-plagued orphan, first in the house of his uncle, then in the house of 'the Russian' and in that 'of the Samoyed'.

After years of misery - quite specific 'measured' misery - he kills all his tormentors. The revenge he takes if for himself. His father, who had lowered down the beloved son from the sky in a cradle, remains aloft." (Hamlet's Mill)

From this I conclude: The man who observes the whole world is the sun. When he is young he has to be inside 3 houses (i.e. he cannot be seen). Each house represents a month.

His uncle owns the first month. I.e. the old one is still in rule. Then the rule of his uncle is over and he moves to the house of 'the Russian':

"... in the house of 'the Russian' he is kept in the door hinge (in the English translation this and other details ar blurred to insignificance), and dishwater is emptied upon him. To be damned to play door hinge is one of the hellish punishments in Egypt, because the hinge is supposed to turn in the victim's eye ..." (Hamlet's Mill)

The door hinge clearly refers to the time of Janus. If December is the month still ruled by his uncle, then January will be the house of the Russian. Moreover, drilling in the eye should mean creating new fire, i.e. quite in agreement with what we can read at the beginning of the 2nd of the 3 months at the end of side a:

3 53 520 752
1279 1280 1334 1 522 1275
2 * 29 522 = 18 * 29 754 = 26 * 29

But we should then continue beyond these 3 'hidden' months and begin to see the new year in March. I.e. we should see the new year at the beginning of side b.

Aa3-6 Aa3-7 Aa3-8 Aa3-9 (848) Aa3-10 Aa3-11 (850)
850 = 17 * 50, 'one more' than 16 * 50 = 800.
Aa3-12 Aa3-13 Aa3-14 Aa3-15

Day number 800 should be possible to find. 800 - 664 = 136 and 136 - 90 = 46:

Aa2-44 Aa2-45 Aa2-46 (800) Aa2-47 Aa2-48
