Another approach would be to try to adjust the numbers resulting from counting from Ga1-1. A first step could then be to put 378 = 2 * 189 = 2 * (9 * 21) = 6 * (3 * 21) = 6 * (7 * 9). The counting would have to stretch beyond Ga7-19 to Ga7-20:
Rei in Ga7-22 probably belongs to next cycle. But shouldn't Ga7-21 be counted as the last glyph of the 1st cycle? Although peculiar it has signs of tagata, and therefore probably is structurally equivalent to Gb5-27:
The glyph sequences put in parallel like this give much food for thought. Two arms from henua in Ga7-17 can be compared with only one in Gb5-22, presumably because it is the 2nd cycle which will be generated in glyph line a7 and the 1st cycle in line b5. 7 is moon and 5 is sun. Sun comes first and moon second. The right hand in Ga7-17 is turned backwards and the thumb is thick - it is the hand of the moon. The (right) hand in Gb5-22 is turned right and has a quite different thumb - it is a thumb with a 'beak', it is the hand of the sun. The symmetry in Ga7-17 indicates a pivotal point, sun leaves and moon comes. In Gb5-21 the pivotal point is at bottom left. The fish in Gb5-23 could signify the moon, because in Ga7-16 there is mago glyph with open mouth, presumably alluding to vaha meha - the red 'mouth' of the sun. Gb5-23 comes after the sun glyphs Gb5-21--22, while Ga7-16 comes before henua with double arms in Ga7-17. Sun first, moon (including earth) comes second. But Ga7-15 (and Ga7-20) definitely indicates the moon. In line a7 the moon is the main character, in line b5 the sun is the main character. The triplet in Gb5-24 corresponds to the triplet at bottom in Ga7-18 (where 7-18 alludes to 187). The 'head off' sign in Ga7-18 is supported numerically: 11 * 17 = 187, odd (bad omen) numbers. 377 also may allude to 17 (because 3 + 7 + 7 = 17), but most important 377 = 13 * 29 - clearly a statement that moon is finished. In Gb5-25 there are two 'eyes' at right, while in the parallel Ga7-19 there are two 'eyes' at left. In Gb5-25 the sun season is in front, while in Ga7-19 it is at the back. In Gb5-26 there is a strong sign of 'eating' (with a small one in Gb5-24). The 'eating' gesture refers to the 1st cycle of the year, when everything is growing as a result of the rays from the sun. From the elbow of the great moa ('personification' of spring sun) emerges what probably indicates the spring sun power. In Gb5-27 the moon season is completed (tagata). In Ga7-21 the sun season is completed. 190 = 10 * 19. The curious top sign probably indicates the turning around (the 'curse', hakaturou). Maybe the strange left (past) leg refers to kava? Gb5-28 is the 3rd and last of its kind:
