The important text Ea9-25--Eb2-4 has a variant of GD26 as glyph no. 2:

 

The first glyph seems to tell that the time of Matariki i nika is handing over. The 5th glyph looks like the one in Hb1-3, perhaps at summer solstice, i.e. when the time of Matariki i raro will begin. But we need a rei to feel conviced and there is one as no. 12 in Ea9-25--Eb2-4. There are two vai later, as no. 22 and no. 25.

The 6th glyph above is equivalent to Hb1-6, which we can see by the parallel glyphs Pb3-8 and Qb3-110:

  

These glyphs are variants of GD24. Perhaps we may now understand GD24 with two 'holes' as a combination corresponding to the 5th and the 6th glyphs above?
