Why two men? Why the closed
fist? The sign of 'running
leg' in Q suggests what
Metoro called
atariki, the first born.
If that is correct in some
meaning, the left of the two
men could be his father or
something like that. And the
closed fist (= sun) has been
taken over by the son. I search for similar 'men hand in hand'. There is none in the calendar of the year in G / K. This type of glyph is not so common. But after this calendar, at a point where K has ended and only G gives us information, I found one (Ga8-25); also I found a similar one in Tahua (Aa5-37):
We should here just note these henua with inside markings and remember our ideas about that not long ago. A season of 'dark nights'? The opposite to the 'season of closed fist' (expressing light)? But we cannot start 'digging' at this point too, we must concentrate on the trail we are following. However, when we find 'gold' we must stop and 'dig' further. When searching in G / K for 'men hand in hand' I found something really valuable, what I believe to be a parallel to the five+ dark nights when old sun disappears and a new one is born, texts (both G and K) corresponding to the 1a period in H / P / Q. These parallel texts in G and K are located prior to the calendar of the year, which is reasonable. I need more pages to describe this. 'Men occasionally stumble over truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened.' (Winston Churchill). We do not hurry off when we think it was a gold nugget that made us stumble.
