I don't think Mars too is traveling outside the area of the sun (as the moon does) - but I don't know if I am right. Later, however, I did find that his path indeed covers much vertical distance:
... And two years later, in August 23 AD 2025, the planet Mars ought to be around 780 - 2 * 365 = 50 days after September 15 (258), viz. around November 4 (308). Or to be more precise: 780 - 2 * 364 = 52 days after September 15 (258), viz. in November 6 (which indeed is noted in the retrograde diagram above as a turning point for Mars) ... So why the 5th ball and exactly the same type of glyph as the moon? The 5th ball could possibly be explained as due to being close to the sun, although not being the sun. A close relative of the sun. The moon is the wife of the sun and Mars is the offspring of royalty, a person destined to be a king. A future king. The world of the sun is rangi (the sky) and it includes Moon and Mars. These imaginations of mine could possibly be similar to what was in the mind of the writer of Keiti. If so, then number 5 in a way signifies the world above, rangi. And 4 + 5 + 5 = 14, which seems good. Half a month or two weeks. The four corners of the world above, the domain of birds, and the two hands of fate. One hand for the women (moon) and one hand for the men (Mars). There are 5 downward sloping marks in first glyph for the Moon (both in Large Santiago and Large St Petersburg). And there are 5 rightward markings in the canoe hulls of Mars (though six in Large St Petersburg). |
