'Half a canoe' at left, a person looking backwards at right. Why is he looking backwards, when in the other periods he is looking forwards? Is there some explanation for this which also includes explaining his absence in period no. 6? And the absence of his friend to the right in period no. 9? Possibly also in period no. 3? 3+3 = 6, 3+3+3 = 9. Is this a sign of a three-partition of the month?

The two at left are similar to those at right, but not exactly so. If Tane is at right, is Tu at left then? Life at right, death at left? Seems right, as left is sinister. Also because no life without death, death must come first. Let us consider the possibility of Tu being death, Saturn etc. |
