The list of kuhane stations was beginning with the 3 islets out in the sea down in the southwestern corner of Easter Island, those islets which did not belong to Hau Maka but to Taanga - the 8th ariki motongi:
Then the Hau Maka stations on the mainland began with Pu Mahore. Counting from the preceding "January 1 this was day 531 (= 365 + 166). In other words Pu Mahore A Hau Maka O Hiva was at the position of 18 lunar synodic months. Here was 18 * 29½ = 531.
