The first task in developing the new version of the glyph dictionary, as I see it, will be to put word labels on each GD (Glyph Door). That way it will be easier to remember what type of glyph is referred to when that is needed in the translations or otherwise. GD11 for example shall be referred to (labelled) as manu rere, because that is the standard expression used by Metoro at glyphs belonging to GD11:

 

I have decided to use the words of Metoro for labels, not because they may contain descriptions of the meaning of the glyphs, but because - on the contrary - Polynesian words are so full of - seemingly - different and even sometimes contrary meanings. Labels chosen from the Polynesian vocabulary will blur. I must avoid labels which may determine too much, for such could easily lead in false directions or focus vision in too narrow a field.

 

Manu rere does not convey much meaning; a 'flying' (not just literally so but also 'moving quickly') 'bird' (not just literally a flying creature with feathers, but also for instance an insect of other beast).
