The 'mother' glyph (Gb2-21) possibly is different from GD33 (and GD71) because it is an adaptation of GD19. That is the impression I get from the fact that we find GD19-type glyphs in the surroundings:

a7-23 Ga8-5 Ga8-16 Ga8-23 Gb1-1 Gb1-6 Gb2-17 Gb2-21 Gb2-25
16 15(?) 10 14(?) 8 9+9=18 19(?) 6+5=11 19(?)
31(?) 24(?) 26 30(?)

Though still Gb2-21 differs in having too short branches without endings with bent spurs. Is Gb2-21 a kind of pun induced by all the 8 surrounding GD19-type glyphs?

Anyhow GD19 is hau according to Metoro and this kind of branch (minus the 'feather' marks) probably is the origin of structure in GD33 (and GD71), a double branch (like in Gb1-6).
