Instead of a pair of stars (Aldebaran and Antares) at opposite sides of the year the pair Polaris and Sheratan were close together.
However, Polaris anyhow in a way corresponded to the precessionally earlier Antares we can see.

At the time when the heliacal Hyades Gate was at 0h the nakshatra Gate of the Goat (Haedus I and II) was at the end of SEPTEMBER. The gateway to summer was when the Sun was in the rainy Hyades and the gateway to winter was when the hairy Haedus was at the Full Moon.
*193 (Ga7-24) = *11 (APRIL 1) + 182 (not 183 because we are moving from nakshatra to heliacal view). APRIL 1 (91) was 11 days after MARCH 21 (80), but APRIL 1 (456) was also 376 (= 11 + 365 = 2 * 188) days after MARCH 21 (80).

Auriga was a constellation at the beginning, not at the end. When people on Easter Island saw Capella close to the Full Moon it meant summer had arrived.
