Alrisha (the Knot, α Piscium) culminated in December 7 and at the opposite side of the year it was Arcturus which culminated

The Grape-gatherer (Vindemiatrix, ε Virginis) culminated 17 days earlier than Arcturus:

Virgo has her right hand upstretched 'to pick grapes', to Vindemiatrix, and her left hand down to Spica, as if planting seeds in a Furrow. A grape is a fruit (hua) and a child (tamaiti) is also a fruit.

We can guess the culmination of Vindemiatrix was probably in the mind of the creator of the G text when he decided to put a tamaiti at day 181.
