Cb6-27 looks like a dead kava person fallen on his face and from his rotting body life then returns in another form:
In a normal year day 249 is September 6. In rongorongo times the heliacal day of Antares was number 249 (= Gregorian day 329). 536 - the glyph number of Cb6-29 (where 62 * 9 = 6 * 93) - equals 365 (536 reversed) + 171 (= 9 * 19). The new glyph line (Cb7) is beginning in position 365 + 172 which could allude to June 21. Ihe tau in Cb7-1 looks like a truncated great marama, and 537 - 511 = 26 days (not a full month):
From May 16 there are 4 * 29 = 116 days to the end of the 4th (i.e. unlucky) month. The last 4 periods follow below. Although the last 5 glyphs in the 8th period are in line Cb8 they clearly also belong in the calendar. In period 5 there is an extra moko followed by ihe tau and a reversed bird. The extra moko is in position 365 + 177:
There are 568 - 508 = 60 days from Cb6-1 (August 10, Murzim 7) to the end of this calendar. 29 (Cb6) + 27 (Cb7) = 56 (= 8 weeks). 56 + 5 = 61. The vero glyphs in Cb7-19 and Cb7-25 do not have the drop-formed bottoms as those in line Ca14. |
