In the G text Rei glyphs occur only on side a, but in C they appear on both sides of the tablet:

For the Arabs and the Chinese January 23 was clearly important. I have redmarked the 3 stars close to the Full Moon in the 3 nights from January 23 to January 25 because of the fraction .4 which probably integrated these 3 stars with the Arab structure.

In the Gap (Al Nathrah) between the Forearm (Castor) and the Beehive (ε Cancri) was ε Carinae:

Metoro seems to have underlined how Bishop Jaussen ought to count (hia).

January 20 is Gregorian day 385 = 5 * 77 and the first day after 20h, when Betelgeuze culminated at midnight.

January 25 is Gregorian day 390 (= 30 * 13).

Mago in Cb12-10 is glyph 284 (= 384 - 100) counted from the beginning of side b.

Counted from the beginning of side a mago is number 676 = 2 * 338, and where 338 (= 366 - 28) possibly could allude to December 4 (338). Anyhow, 676 = 52 * 13.

364 = 52 * 7 and 676 - 364 = 312 = 24 * 13.

Hanau in Cb12-8 has its right hand missing and this was in night number 4 from January 19, when the Gregorian day number 384 > 13 * 29½. I.e., the Gregorian day number at hanau was 388 (= 300 + 88).

Metoro mentioned oho (going away) 3 times, beginning at vae in Cb12-6 or 40 weeks counted from the beginning of side b.

Al Sa’d al Dhabih was the 20th Arab manzil, the 'Lucky One of the Slaughterers', and the 1st of the 4 Sa'd manazil:

19 Al Baldah City π Sagittarii (Al Baldah) 290.1 January 5 (370)   279
20 Al Sa’d al Dhabih Lucky One of the Slaughterers α Capricorni (Gredi), β (Dabih) 308.0 January 23 (388) 18 297
21 Al Sa’d al Bula' Good Fortune of the Swallower ε Aquarii (Albali), μ, ν 314.8 January 30 (395) 7 304
22 Al Sa'd al Su'ud Luckiest of the Lucky β Aquarii (Sadalsud), ξ (Bunda), c (46) Capricorni 325.9 February 10 (406) 11 315
23 Al Sa'd al Ahbiyah Lucky Star of Hidden Things α Aquarii (Sadalmelik), γ (Sadachbia), ζ, η, π 338.6 February 23 (419) 13 328

At January 25 Metoro possibly indicated that the counting should end (haga hia). His preceding hiku could have had a similar meaning, when he tried to explain the highly uplifted tail fin of mago:

Hiku

Tail; caudal fin. Hikukio'e, 'rat's tail': a plant (Cyperus vegetus). Vanaga.

... In the deep night before the image [of Lono] is first seen, there is a Makahiki ceremony called 'splashing-water' (hi'uwai). Kepelino tells of sacred chiefs being carried to the water where the people in their finery are bathing; in the excitement created by the beauty of their attire, 'one person was attracted to another, and the result', says this convert to Catholicism, 'was by no means good' ... (Islands of History)

Possibly there were 6 nights to be counted (hia) from vai o maro hia up to and including ka moe te ravarava hiku haga hia.

From day 360 to day 366 there were 6 days.

From the beginning of side b on the G tablet to Gb1-7 there were 6 days:

January 14 15
Gb1-6 (236) Gb1-7 (*300)
Tarazed (299.3) Altair (300.3)

There is a general resemblance between the upside down figure in Gb1-7 (300 days from March 21) and the right part in Cb11-18, but they appear to be 4 nights apart:

January 10 11 12 (377) 13 14
July 11 12 (193) 13 14 15
