4. Apparently we have discovered a structure which has a pair of joined but different periods. First we have the tao period, stretching for 230 days, from the 'birth' to the day of 'rau hei', e.g.:

Neither the first nor the last of the glyphs in such a period necessarily must be a tao sign respectively a sign of rau hei. But I think they should incorporate the ideas of 'birth' respectively 'end'. If so, then the tao periods can offer us a method to find out the 'inclination' of the glyph types. For instance can we from the 'rau hei' position of viri in Ga7-1 understand why it has been drawn as if it was on its way to 'fall on its face' (just like hau tea in Gb7-2).
Evidently a 'great fortnight' of Moon ends with Gb7-2 (where 7 * 2 = 14), and we could therefore guess that a 'great week' of Sun could end with Ga7-1. But 171 is not divisible by 7. However, 7 = 4 + 3 and if we divide 171 by 3 (because 4 should belong to the early days of spring before Sun has arrived) the result is a satisfactory 3 * 57 = 9 * 19. I.e., 117 is the square of 3 multiplied by the Sun number 19.
The tao periods tend to be joined 'hand in hand', but it is so far not known if they can come in more than pairs. Let us investigate:

Tagata in Ga2-7 has only a pair of feathers at left but a mata at right, which indicates a position of birth. And coloured from Gb8-30 instead of from Ga2-1 (which at Moe was the method found appropriate for line a2) the glyph is green as the colour of Venus and of the newborn greenery.
Vero in Gb2-11 stands immediately beyond day 266 (autumn equinox) and 'land' (4 + 3 = 7 feathers) is no longer visible, hidden behind the 'mountain'. It is a Saturday judged from number 11.
Ure in front in Gb1-26 suggests regeneration. However, this glyph clearly should be read together with the following Gb2-1. And it is doubtful if we can imagine ariki in Ga1-13 as the next tao in the line:

But if we can accept tagata in Ga2-7 as a 'tao' glyph and vero in Gb2-11 as a 'rau hei' glyph, then we should try to move backwards one more step from there:
