The shape of hahe in Aa3-9 and Ab5-66 can be imagined as a star (hetu'u), but there are 4 'square flames' and we can therefore guess it is earth which is referred to rather than the sun:
In the center there is a 'little one'. Maybe this little rhomb refers to a fire down on earth which has been lit in order to be in harmony with what happens up in the sky at winter solstice. 400 days are about to begin (one for each 'arm' in the hahe 'cross') and a new little 'fire' will be there on day one of the new year:
Hahe in Ab5-66 is similar, but not very prominent. Maybe it is located beyond the end of high summer when it is difficult to feed the fires properly. 5 * 66 = 330 = 11 * 30 indicates 'a new little one' is on his way. 10 is the maximum number for the sun and a quarter beyond day 240 seems to be the time:
Hahe at day 330 comes 268 (26 and 8) days beyond the final of high summer:
The division by 3 is a fact which possibly is reflected in the following inoino glyphs. Maybe the little rhomb in the center of Ab5-66 multiplies into 6 rhombs next day. At top left the hahe glyph is cut off. Pruning results in better fruits. |
