Gb2-27 is, it seems, the beginning of a season with 171 days when sun is away:

Gb2-27 (283) Gb3-5 Gb3-25 Gb4-2 Gb4-23 Gb8-11 (453)
171 = 9 * 19

If sun is given 300 days for his presence on the island, then by adding 171 days we reach the number of glyphs of the G tablet. But in order to reach ordinal number 300 at Gb2-26 we must start counting from vero in Gb8-12:

Gb8-11 Gb8-12 Gb8-13 Gb8-14 Gb8-15

And 18 must be added to the ordinal numbers we have derived by counting from Gb8-30:

Gb2-11 Gb2-12 Gb2-13 Gb2-14 Gb2-15 Gb2-16 (290)
Gb2-17 Gb2-18 Gb2-19 Gb2-20 Gb2-21 Gb2-22 (296)
Gb2-23 Gb2-24 Gb2-25 Gb2-26 (300) Gb2-27 Gb2-28

The unusual Gb2-16 (at 10 * 29 = 290) maybe can be understood to mean that there are 4 periods during sun's climbing up and 2 during his descent. A final 3rd period has no visbile 'sun ball'. Possibly the 2 periods from midsummer could be referring to the thunder twins.
