Thus the beginning ('day zero') of the text on side b of the B tablet
ought
reasonably to correspond to the Full Moon at the right ascension day
for ε Cancri,
viz. at *130 (= *260 / 2), corresponding
to right ascension day July 29 (210 = 420 / 2).
*130 = *339
(Terminalia, Bb6-6) - *209 (the ordinal number for Bb6-6
counted from the beginning of side b).

at the 2nd of the empty head gears (Bb6-12).

... It was 4 August 1968, and it
was the feast day of Saint Dominic, patron of Santo
Domingo Pueblo, southwest of Santa Fe. At one end of
the hot, dusty plaza, a Dominican priest watched
nervously as several hundred dancers arranged in two
long rows pounded the earth with their moccasined
feet as a mighty, collective prayer for rain,
accompanied by the powerful baritone singing of a
chorus and the beat of drums. As my family and I
viewed this, the largest and in some ways the most
impressive Native American public ceremony, a tiny
cloud over the Jémez Mountains to the northwest got
larger and larger, eventually filling up the sky; at
last the storm broke, and the sky was crisscrossed
by lightning and the pueblo resounded with peals of
rolling thunder ... |

The creator of the C text has put glyph number 392 at the
end of side a and number 393 at the beginning of side b of
his tablet (Mamari, the Egg), which suggests there
could be a correspondence between his remarkable
glyph number 398 and Bb1-6 (February 2, 33 + 365 = 398).
A
little dot for catching attention adorns the center of Bb1-6
and 427 (the ordinal number counted from Ba1-1) could allude
to March 2 in a leap year (62 + 365 = 427
→ Bb6-13).

We should also notice that the sum of glyphs on the
C tablet (740 = 2 * 365)
can be compared with 840 (= 740 + 100) for the sum of the
glyphs on side a together with the first 10 lines on side b of the
B tablet - given that there is a zero
day before Ba1-1.
1 + 421 + 418 = 840 = 392 + 348 + 100.
Both the C and the B tablets have a hole drilled through the
wood, possibly for hanging the tablet on the wall, but
surely also for giving an important sign.

... The divine names Bran, Saturn, Cronos ...
are applied to the ghost of Hercules that floats
off in the alder-wood boat after his midsummer
sacrifice. His tanist, or other self, appearing
in Greek legend as Poeas who lighted Hercules'
pyre and inherited his arrows, succeeds him for
the second half of the year; having acquired
royal virtue by marriage with the queen, the
representative of the White Goddess, and by
eating some royal part of the dead man's body -
heart, shoulder or thigh-flesh. He is in turn
succeeded by the New Year Hercules, a
reincarnation of the murdered man, who beheads
him and, apparently, eats his head. This
alternate eucharistic sacrifice made royalty
continous, each king in turn the Sun-god beloved
of the reigning Moon-goddess. But when these
cannibalistic rites were abandoned and the
system was gradually modified until a single
king reigned for a term of years,
Saturn-Cronos-Bran became a mere Old Year ghost,
permanently overthrown by Juppiter-Zeus-Belin
though yearly conjured up for placation at the
Saturnalia or Yule feast ...

introduced as part of the Julian reform. The
day following the Terminalia (February 23)
was doubled, forming the 'bis sextum
- literally 'double sixth', since February
24 was 'the sixth day before the Kalends of
March' using Roman inclusive counting (March
1 was the 'first day'). Although exceptions
exist, the first day of the bis sextum
(February 24) was usually regarded as the
intercalated or 'bissextile' day since the
third century. February 29 came to be
regarded as the leap day when the Roman
system of numbering days was replaced by
sequential numbering in the late Middle Ages

From January 27 (365 + 27 = 392 = *312) when the
Full Moon according to
the nakshatra
system would have been at the Arab station
Al
Nathrah (the Gap) to April 1 (cfr Bb11-11
below)
there were 208 + 8 + 213 = 429 glyphs = 365 + 64 days,
where the addition with 64 days evidently corresponded to the precession
since the Golden Age of the Bull. 26000 / 365.25 *
64 = ca 4556 years = AD 1842 + 2714 BC.
27 * 14 = 378 (synodic cycle of Saturn) and 18 * 42
= 756 = 2 * 378.
I think the figure illustrating the Sun in Bb11-12
(see below) was intended to corresponded to the Whip star (Cih,
γ Cassiopeiai)
rising with the Sun in April 2:
... At the beginning of 44 B.C. -
when Ceasar was still alive - the Senate decided to
raise statues of him in all the temples and to
sacrifice to him on his birthday in the month
Quintilis, which in honour of him was renamed
July. He was raised to the status of a god (among
the other gods of the state) under the name Jupiter
Julius. Marcus Antonius, who this year was consul
together with Caesar, became high priest and
responsible for the ceremonies. In the middle of
February, at the time of the old feast of
Lupercalia [Lupus = Wolf], he ran around
naked and whipped the Roman ladies with thongs made
from goat-skin [februa], in order to promote
their fertility ...
... On the G tablet, which at the beginning of its
side a evidently carries glyphs referring to the
heliacal places as they were at the time of the
Golden Age of the Bull, we have found some evidence
of a correlation with the text in Manuscript E
regarding the stolen water yam roots (uhi)
from Ma'eha. I think they were growing in the
region of 'Water' beginning in the month of February
and preceding the successive lines of 'Fire' (0h) -
like those red lines produced by the Cat o' nine
tails wielded by
originally Castor and later by his successors such
as Marcus Antonius

From March 22 (where the Sun was rising at the last

tablet, June 17 (when the Sun was rising together with
Betelgeuze) we can count 421 (side a) + 506 (side b)

days at the end of the B text, corresponding to the number of
notches on the ancient mammoth

return to visibility of the heliacal stars.
... Due to the effects of the precession (64) and
the change from observations at the return to
visibility to calculated true heliacal days (16) the
day numbered 161 (for JUNE 10) could be reused
(re-membered) in the era of rongorongo. Because 64 +
16 = 80 (March 21, 0h). August 29 (241) was 80 days
after June 10 (161), i.e. the right ascension day
number was *161 (Bb6-11):
