5. The label 'translation' is to be understood rather freely. To begin with: my 3 document files named Translations; they are beginning after the end of Index.doc:
Focus in TRANSLATIONS.doc is to document the process in creating a preliminary dictionary for the different types of glyph. But I have also used the word 'translations' for hyperlink labels leading to discussions about how to understand the glyph text, e.g. at the beginning of side a on the G tablet. And furthermore, I have used the hyperlink label 'comments' when parallel texts occur. As time went by it became clear that several of the glyph texts could be put in parallel not only with dates in the Gregorian calendar but also with the positions of revelant stars. This made the idea of translating the rongorongo text recede into the background, for the moment no longer quite as important. An example can be given from the beginning of side b on the Keiti tablet:
