This reminds me of a discovery I made some years ago. I tried to find a
'continuation' to the well-know Pythagorean numbers 32 + 42
= 52, which is the only solution (with natural numbers) to the problem
in the
equation: x2 + (x+1)2 = (x+2)2 The 'continuation' I tried was: x2 + (x+1)2 + (x+2)2 = (x+3)2 + (x+4)2 Here also there was only one solution: 102 + 112 + 122 = 132 + 142. Remarkably this gives the sum 365. Fired by this discovery I searched for more coincidences and could make this little table:
73 (of course) is 365 / 5 (miraculously connected to the period of Venus) and 4,004 is the number of years BC when (according to Bishop Usher) Earth had been created by God. |
