22. The great Canopus rose with the Sun in St John's Day 6 days before Sirius in June 30:

... The evening of 23 June, St. John's Eve, is the eve of celebration before the Feast Day of Saint John the Baptist. The Gospel of Luke (Luke 1:36, 56-57) states that John was born about six months before Jesus; therefore, the feast of John the Baptist was fixed on 24 June, six months before Christmas Eve ...
Probably the beginning of side a on the C tablet was where the Southern Cross rose with the Sun, i.e. when the Full Moon was in Andromeda. At the time of rongorongo the northern spring spring equinox (0h) was at Sirrah (α Andromeda) and south of the equator Acrux rose with the Sun in day 267 (September 24) equal to day 84 (Julian spring equinox) + 183. At the time when Hyadum II was at 0h the day number for Acrux would have been 267 - 64 = 203 at JULY 22 (where 22 / 7 = π):
The Tree could have been planted when the Sun reached the Head of the Giant (Ras Algethi, α Herculi) which was in the day preceding the night when the Full Moon reached Capella and Rigel. 77 (Ca4-1) - 4 (precessional days earlier when at the rime of Gregory XIII the Sun would have been at Sirrah in ºMarch 21) = 73 = 365 / 5. And 95 (Ca4-19 which at the time of rongorongo corresponded to Christmas Eve) - 4 = 91 = 364 / 4.
Then, in the night between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the Ever-green Tree stood up in all its glory:
