Barthel does not show any glyph missing at the beginning of line
b11, only that the first glyph he saw there(labelled by me as
Pb11-102) is damaged. Fischer, on the other hand, is not very explicit about this matter, but indicates that the beginning of line b11 is not visible. He has, though, documented part of a glyph which Barthel evidently did not see (Pb11-101). There is - I believe - no room for yet another glyph before Pb11-101. Curiously Barthel saw a rei miro glyph between Pb11-104 and Pb11-105 but not Fischer. Fischer instead documented Pb11-105 as arriving immediately after Pb11-104 and then he marked with three dots that thereafter a part of the text is invisible. Barthel had no completely invisible text at all in line b11. He also documented Pb11-105. A question mark therefore remains. |
