Tamaiti in Gb4-7 is important, and its ordinal number becomes 800 if we add 472 to 328:
Counted from Rogo its ordinal number becomes 392 = the number of glyphs on side a of Mamari. The new year child at 414 is given 386 days up to the end of the 400-day long year:
With day 300 (from Rogo) at Gb1-6, a quarter (91 days) will be reached with day 400:
72 days more then must follow, the first 36 of which are:
The above serves, hopefully, as a foundation to keep in mind when we now will take a quick look at the 'front side' of Mamari:
These are the double-string maro glyphs in C. Two redmarked ones are on side a. Ca14-8 has 'feather strings' growing on both sides of a half hidden vaha kai. 'Feather strings' which do not hang down but grow upwards could perhaps refer to water rather than fire. When mother earth has been rained upon she responds with growth. On side a the 3 double-string maro glyphs are horizontally divided in a left and a right side. Side b shows more of the vertical dimension, and we can imagine some kind of relationship between Cb1-6 and Cb10-12:
634 at 10-12 may allude to 364, and the distance from Gb1-6 is 236 glyphs. 242 is the number of glyphs on side b of G. Ca14-23 has 'feathers' only on the outside, a strong sign, but we can identify surrounding glyphs which will help us understand:
Ca14-21 is located at day 384 (= twice 192), i.e. at the 13th kuhane station (13 * 29.5 = 383.5). A gap in time is illustrated. At left there are 2 big mata, possibly each one standing for 192. At right there has not yet developed next such mata (at the top). Honu in the following Ca14-22 has lost his legs. Rogo (Ca14-25 and Ca14-28) are together defining winter solstice, and we should remember how in Tahua a pair of Rogo glyphs defined days 361 and 367, the first one bulging towards right and the second both leaning and bulging towards left:
We can also look at the numerical results of multiplying by 14:
Side a apparently ends with winter solstice. In Ca14-29 the hand sign seems to allude to the right top part of Ca14-21, something new comes with Ca14-29. It is also alluding to the 'fire generator' sign:
