Ga5-15 is interesting. It has 6 + 6 = 12 'feathers', and the theme in henua periods 18 - 20 seems to be the mid section of the path of the sun:

18
Ga5-10 Ga5-11 Ga5-12 Ga5-13 Ga5-14 Ga5-15 (126) Ga5-16
19
Ga5-17 Ga5-18 Ga5-19 Ga5-20 Ga5-21
20
Ga5-22 Ga5-23 Ga5-24 Ga5-25 Ga5-26 Ga5-27 Ga5-28 Ga5-29

Tapa mea (Ga5-27) is reversed and also eating (kai), which probably means darkness is growing.

Rogo glyphs (Ga5-10 and Ga6-24) define a 45-day long period beyond the first four 30-day months counted from Gb8-30, and maro is the 6th of these days:

183 4 38
Gb6-26 (1) Ga5-10 (185) Ga5-15 Ga6-24 (229)

Possibly maro in Ga5-15 is located at the onset of the standstill of the sun. There is a honu with 'legs' at left (Ga5-14) and another one a week later. But a closer investigation is necessary.

Period 18 is the last of those which together measure out 70 days, and period 19 is the first of the following 60 days:

50 + 7 + 130 = 187. From winter solstice it will be 64 + 187 = 251. But if we count from day number 400, the sum is 260:

252
Gb6-17 (1) Ga7-11 (254) Ga7-12 Ga7-13 Ga7-14
Ga7-15 Ga7-16 Ga7-17 (260) Ga7-18 Ga7-19 Ga7-20
Ga7-21 Ga7-22 Ga7-23 (266) Ga7-24 Ga7-25 Ga7-26
Ga7-27 Ga7-28 Ga7-29 Ga7-30 Ga7-31 Ga7-32 (275)

It means that period 18 will end with day 260 - 60 = 200 counted from Gb6-17. Ordinal number -17 also unites these two glyphs.

If we recount the ordinal number for Gb6-17 according to the same method it will (of course) be glyph number 473. Glyph number 400 will instead be Gb4-6:

400 - 275 = 125, and there are 28 glyphs from Ga7-33 to the end of side a. 125 - 28 = 97.

26 (b1) + 35 (b2) + 30 (b3) = 91 (a quarter).

Gb4-6 has ordinal number 327 counted from Gb8-30. 327 + 73 = 400.

Gb3-30 Gb4-1 Gb4-2 Gb4-3 Gb4-4 Gb4-5
Gb4-6 (400) Gb4-7 Gb4-8 Gb4-9 Gb4-10 Gb4-11
Gb4-12 Gb4-13 Gb4-14 Gb4-15 Gb4-16 Gb4-17

With glyph line b4 hau tea becomes reversed. Hoea pau is the last glyph before darkness falls.

Hatinga Te Kohe is the last glyph in line b4 if we count from Gb8-30.

11 * 29.5 = 324.5 (Akahanga) lies between Gb4-3 and Gb4-4.

If we count from Rogo (Gb6-26), manu rere in Gb4-6 will be number 64 + 327 = 391 (as if to say 'third quarter ends here').

11 * 30 = 330 is Gb4-9 (with 4 * 9 = 36) and it illustrates the downfall of the sun. Counted from winter solstice it is day number 330 + 64 = 394 = 403 - 9.

Manu rere in Gb4-15 is day number 336 + 64 = 400 counted from winter solstice. The following strange glyph has 9 + 9 'feathers' and may be connected with Gb1-6:

99
Gb1-6 (300) Gb4-16 (401)
