Once again. If each glyph corresponds to 60 days, then the pattern should be:
8 * 60 = 480, which could allude to Aa1-48:
Interpreted this way, 48 apparently is to be divided into quarters, and Aa1-24 comes naturally as the last glyph in the 2nd such quarter:
The resemblance between Saturn (Aa1-18) and Mercury (Aa1-22) is striking. Both inhabit solstices. Their long necks represent the Tree. In Aa1-20 it is Moon who is eating (kai). Maybe we should regard Aa1-13--16 as 4 intermittent special glyphs, like Aa1-1--4:
If so, then we can guess the 8 following glyphs represent the 4 quarters of the year:
The Rei flames at right in Aa1-18 can be explained as the flames from the full moon at winter solstice. 2 flames (waxing and waning) for the moon and 6 for the sun. Mars at Aa1-21 is drawn as a very strong tapa mea. Sun at Aa1-19 has a tapa mea which opens up to the right at the bottom. If Aa1-18 is at winter solstice, then there should be 20 days per glyph:
It seems to fit. Aa1-17--18 are functioning both as the last two 20-day months and as the last quarter in relation to the following 3 quarters (Aa1-19--24). But then a new year ought to begin with Sun in Aa1-19:
Sun exits at toga in Aa1-33 because once again (cfr Aa1-15) the 300th day has been reached. Most convincing is the pattern with twice 360 as in the Mamari moon calendar. What happens then? I guess we should continue to 480:
