Gb1-16--17 is a pair of inverted haati glyphs:
Gb1-5 Gb1-6 Gb1-7 Gb1-8 Gb1-9
Gb1-10 Gb1-11 Gb1-12 Gb1-13 Gb1-14
Gb1-15 Gb1-16 Gb1-17 Gb1-18 Gb1-19

By inverting a sign its meaning is also inverted. Instead of a possible meaning equal or similar to that of vae ('sun is leaving'), the meaning presumably here should be 'moon is arriving'. The upper part of these inverted haati glyphs could indicate the crescent of waxing moon. The 2nd (Gb1-17) is thinner, quite in agreement with experience from the Mamari moon calendar where a thinner crescent apparently indicates waning moon.

Furthermore, the inverted person in Gb1-3 has vae at left - it is the spring sun leaving. He is twisted around into 'waning' (also the eating gesture is upside down - he is no longer growing).

The following glyph, Gb1-14, draws attention by being relatively uncomplicated. Counting its ordinal number from Gb8-30 we arrive at 244 = 4 * 61. It marks the end of the first half of the year. The beginning of the second half is located at Gb1-15, where hua poporo is the central sign. The sun leaving vae in Gb1-13 is mirrored in a pair of moon arriving haati (Gb1-16--17).

A square measured out as 4 by 61 days for the first half of the year comes after 8 * 29.5 = 236 (Te Pei at Gb1-6). Sun is measured by 4 and moon by 8. If spring sun is finished after 244 days, there could follow 2 moon 'years' each with 8 by 8 = 64 days. 244 + 64 + 64 = 372 = 12 * 31:

Gb5-5 Gb5-6 Gb5-7 Gb5-8 Gb5-9 Gb5-10 Gb5-11 Gb5-12
Gb5-13 Gb5-14 Gb5-15 Gb5-16 Gb5-17 Gb5-18 (372) Gb5-19 Gb5-20

Another alternative could be 244 followed by 8 * 29.5, of course, but 244 + 236 = 480 does not seem to be obviously reflected in the pattern of glyphs:

Ga1-1 (473) Ga1-2 Ga1-3 Ga1-4 Ga1-5 Ga1-6
Ga1-7 Ga1-8 (480) Ga1-9 Ga1-10 Ga1-11 Ga1-12

The rising fish is in principle the same as that in Gb5-13 (and in Gb4-31), it shows the new year. There are, though, two added signs. Behind the fish we can imagine an inverted moon 'boat', presumably indicating it is a kind of moon year. Then there is a mark also inside the fish at top right. It is the same kind of mark we have in Gb5-14--16 and in Gb5-20. Only one more instance in G of this type can be found, viz. Gb7-15, in which its body has been turned around:

Gb7-5 Gb7-6 Gb7-7 Gb7-8 Gb7-9 Gb7-10 Gb7-11
Gb7-12 Gb7-13 Gb7-14 Gb7-15 (426) Gb7-16 Gb7-17
Gb7-18 Gb7-19 Gb7-20 Gb7-21 Gb7-22 Gb7-23 Gb7-24
Gb7-25 Gb7-26 Gb7-27 Gb7-28 Gb7-29 Gb7-30

Possibly there is a waxing shark at Gb7-13 which becomes inverted (sign at left in Gb7-15) because Gb7-14 stands at 'full moon'. The thinner shark in Gb7-16 will then be waning. The pattern is, though, reversed in the calendar for the week, where Monday has lean before fat:

Hb9-22 Hb9-23 (435) Hb9-24 Hb9-25 Hb9-26 Hb9-27 Hb9-28 Hb9-29
-
Pb10-32 Pb10-33 (476) Pb10-34 Pb10-35 Pb10-36 Pb10-37 Pb10-38

476 is counted from Pb1-1 and 476 = 426 + 50 = 17 * 28 = 7 * 68. Counting from Pa1-1 we get 476 + 599 = 1075 = 25 * 43. 478 at Pb10-35 is equal to 2 * 239, maybe a meaningless number. 1077 = 3 * 359, which means 3 * 360 = 1180 arrives at Pb10-38.

435 is counted from Hb1-1 and equal to 15 * 29. Counting from Ha1-1 results in 435 + 648 = 1083 = 3 * 361.

2 * 648 = 1296 = 3 * 432, where 432 = 16 * 27, if we consider the total number of glyphs in H.

599 + 559 = 1158 = 3 * 386, where 386 = 2 * 193, if we consider the total number of glyphs in P.

Tao in Gb7-17 has numbers relating to the moon, e.g. 428. A slight depression at right in its center together with a slightly bent tip to the left at the top give signs for identifying it with a tao for the moon. It comes beyond waning.

428 can be read as 42 * 8 = 336 = 2 * 168, and is like a reshuffled 248 (= 8 * 31):

178
Gb1-18 (248) Gb1-19 Gb7-17 (428)
180 = 2 * 90

If there should be two squares 4 * 61, we must have 2 * 244 = 488 glyphs, which means we have to continue on to side a:

Ga1-1 (473) Ga1-2 Ga1-3 Ga1-4 Ga1-5 Ga1-6
Ga1-7 Ga1-8 Ga1-9 Ga1-10 Ga1-11 Ga1-12
Ga1-13 Ga1-14 Ga1-15 Ga1-16 (488) Ga1-17 Ga1-18
Ga1-19 Ga1-20 Ga1-21 Ga1-22 (494) Ga1-23 Ga1-24

26 * 19 = 494 at Ga1-22 seems to define an end to the sun cycle. 488 = 8 * 61 has a sign which looks somewhat like that at Hua Reva:

Gb2-27 Gb2-28 Gb2-29 Gb2-30 Gb2-31
Gb2-32 Gb2-33 Gb2-34 Gb2-35 Gb3-1
Gb3-2 Gb3-3 Gb3-4 (295) Gb3-5 Gb3-6
