Let us examine the structure of the kiore - henua (and maro) periods in G again:

8 + 4 + 7 = 19

3 + 2 + 3 = 8

13, 14, 15

4 + 3 + 5 = 12

54

16, 17, 18

3 + 6 + 7 = 16

70

10 weeks are measured out from the first glyph in the 1st period to the last in the 18th:

1
Ga2-27 (1) Ga2-28 Ga2-29 Ga3-1 Ga3-2 Ga3-3 Ga3-4 Ga3-5
18
Ga5-10 Ga5-11 Ga5-12 Ga5-13 Ga5-14 Ga5-15 Ga5-16 (70)

Counting from Gb8-30 the ordinal numbers are 58 respectively 127. The time from the beginning of the text (if at Gb8-30) is 57 + 70 = 127 days to the end of the 18th period.

57 is not a good number, and we have indeed reflected (without any thought on 57) that there ought to be a period zero with 7 glyphs:

54

16, 17, 18

3 + 6 + 7 = 16

70

19, 20, 21 5 + 8 + 5 = 18 30 88
22, 23, 24 4 + 3 + 5 = 12 100
25, 26, 27 2 + 2 + 3 = 7 30 107
28, 29, 30 3 + 3 + 4 = 10 117
31, 32, 33 6 + 4 + 3 = 13 130
34, 0 3 + 7 = 10 10 140

It would result in 50 instead of 57 days before the kiore - henua calendar is beginning. Much better.

5 * 10 = 50 days at the very beginning, then comes a calendar with 77 + 63 = 140 days, together 190 days.

34
Ga7-18 Ga7-19 Ga7-20 (190)

If we wish to have whole weeks, we must begin counting from Ga1-1. Then 189 will be equal to 27 weeks.

The creator of G of course had a structure in mind when deciding that twice 35 (and twice 30) should be integrated as an important part in his calendar.

I guess there was a basic cosmic background he perceived and which must be followed. The conjunction between 5 and 7 could refer to a conjunction between sky and earth. At honu I wrote:

"An iconographic study by Jeff Kowalski suggests a cosmological layout for the Nunnery. The higher placement of the North Building, with its 13 exterior doorways (reflecting the 13 layers of heaven), and the celestial serpents surmounting the huts identify it with the celestial sphere.

The iconography of the West Building, with 7 exterior doorways (7 is the mystic number of the earth's surface), and figures of Pawahtun - the earth god as a turtle - indicate this to be the Middleworld, the place of the sun's descent into the Underworld.

The East Building has mosaic elements reflecting the old war cult of Teotihuacan, where tradition had it that the sun was born; thus, this may also be Middleworld, the place of the rising sun. Finally, the South Building has 9 exterior doorways (the Underworld or Xibalba had 9 layers), and has the lowest placement in the compex; it thus seems to be associated with death and the nether regions." (The Maya)

'7 is the mystic number of the earth's surface' and 'the earth god as a turtle' (Pawahtun) is mentioned for the Middleworld. We know that 5 is the fire in the sky according to the rongorongo system. A conjunction of fire and the surface of the earth becomes 35. Then this number is doubled to avoid an odd number, but also to create 7 * 10 for once again stressing the season of growth on earth (7) is dependent on the sun measure (10).

13 times 10 = 130 is the number of days for the time from the beginning of period 1 to the end of period 33:

33
Ga7-15 Ga7-16 Ga7-17 (130)

Counting from Gb8-30 the ordinal number is 187 (= 11 * 17). Counting from Ga1-1 it is 186 = 6 * 31. Half the solar year is completed at Ga7-17. When counting with the sun we presumably should begin with Ga1-1.

7 * 17 (as in Ga7-17) + 11 * 17 (as in 187)  = 17 * 18 = 306 (as in 30 times 6 = 180).

There should be a 'square', therefore twice 35 is balanced with twice 30. 7 is not in the west but in the east, and 6 therefore will be in the west. The orientation in Maya land is opposite to that on Easter Island. 13 is the sum of 7 and 6.
