We should complete our table for side a with also the rest of the stations. We will go by the moon and by the time order earlier used for the multiples of 59:
The article (te, nga) says we should begin with Te Pou:
Once again it is apparent how there is a good correlation between the beginning of glyph lines and the beginning of 'kuhane stations'. Beyond Nga Kope Ririva (moving with the sun) there is only sea and no land (Ga8-1 etc), and it is easy to follow the glyph lines (there are no landmarks disturbing the theoretical constructs). A Rei serves as a guiding glyph. But sun is present also a bit into side b. Not until Hua Reva does he disappear:
I have eliminated the column for the 5th glyph, it does not seem to be very relevant. There are 9 stations (though one not on land and therefore without a name) when sun is present. Te Piringa Aniva could be thought of as a somewhat questionable case, but although the old fires presumably have gone out a new fire is the aim of the great meeting of all the people of the island. And te is there. So there are 7 names beginning with te and 1 with a plural denomination (nga). We can infer that the regeneration occurs at Nga Kope Ririva. The station without name shows lots of progeny in form of hua poporo glyphs. Rei glyphs are also there, to enhance the fertility. There are 8 kuhane stations in the sun and 6 governed by the moon:
Te Pei and Te Pou are special, because they are located on side b. Nga Kope Ririva and Tama are special, because they are not related to Hau Maka. They are of a different sort. So there are only 7 + 1 Hau Maka stations in the sun and only 5 + 1 Hau Maka stations in the light of the moon. |
