This looks like an introduction, Polynesian style, of the
'persons' of the coming narrative. Next follows 10 semirepetitious
sequences of glyphs with the same general structure but with lots of
variations. In order to see this structure more clearly I have
chosen to number the sequences from 1 to 10 and to postpone the
'readings' of Metoro until the page thereafter.
