According to the
description of Barthel line a8 has a space alloted for glyphs
which is about the same as lines a4 and a7. Since these lines
both initially seem to have had 16 glyphs, there are probably in
line a8 missing 16 - 6 - 2 (Da8-201 is extraordinarily long) = 8
glyphs, i.e. line a8 might initially have had 6 + 8 = 14 glyphs.
See also below a confirmation of this number.

Da8-204
According to the
photograph of Fischer it is possible that 7 of the missing
glyphs initially were to the right of Da8-204 and one between
Da8-201 and Da8-202. (Though the description of Fischer - as
usual - does not contain any useful such information.)

With a
hight degree of confidence we may state that:
Every line initially contained an even number of
glyphs. All together there were 136 glyphs on side
a.
