This text is somewhat unusual because it is difficult to identify with certainty any sequences of glyphs which are parallel with sequences of glyphs in other texts.

Moreover, the impression is that every line of glyphs is a finished whole. Most rongorongo texts flow over the ends of one line on to next line.

The number of glyphs in each line on side a is always even. On side b there are 4 lines with an odd number of glyphs, 2 lines with an even number of glyphs.

The total number of glyphs were initally 222 (= 136 + 86). Number magic may have governed these numbers. 8 + 6 = 14 and 14 + 1 + 3 + 6 = 24.
